PWG UPDATES: Grapemo, Week # 3

In the past I've always tried to send back a note to let you know I received your updates. This week I can't do it, but here they are. If you're not on the list it means I didn't get your update--but I *know* you guys are all working diligently, and that, if not, you have very good reasons (from the messages I received these mostly involve pain or bodily fluids).

anywherebeyond's goal of writing revision notes is proceeding apace. She received notes from 5 critique partners and is now starting to incorporate their thoughts into the revision.

catherine_james made a change to one of the plot's fundamental aspects and now has to redirect her efforts, so her revised PWG is to crack the 20k mark by the end of the month (roughly 1,215 words/day starting today).

edgyauthor rewrote 1 1/2 chapters from scratch, plus revised—or completed deleted—a bunch of random scenes from her WIP.

fandoria wrote 1 1/2 chapters this week—for a total of 2 1/2 chapters this month—which puts her halfway!

feonua wrote a full 7,500 words on her WIP.

Kathie C wrote and edited 1450 words on her novel, SON LIGHT, and edited 2 other sections. And is beginning to LIKE it.

kathys_shadow reached 1/3 of her goal this week and plans to catch up next week.

kaz_mahoney FINISHED her revisions of THE IRON WITCH! Next she’ll be working on her antho SS and then will begin revision on BG.

kbaccellia achieved her goal of writing 500 words a day this week, and on Saturday tackled the new beginning of GODDESSES!

lisa_schroeder has written 4,500 words so far and also came up with some major plot breakthroughs.

mela_lyn got the second half of her outline fixed and ripped out about 6 chapters—right now she at around 20k, with 1k NEW words!

meredith_wood realized that this book is not going to be a fly-by-the-seat-of-her-pants type of book so she stopped everything to get an outline done.

njnelson is 4100 words into her story; her revised PWG is 15k.

onegrapeshy completed her revisions and is 100 pages (1.5 font, not double) into her line edits.

Patti M’s writing was on target this week with one "trade-off" when she spent the writing hours revising some confusing parts of the story—which of course had to be done before she could move on.

SherWm managed to do first edits on chapters 13-15, final edits on 10, 11, 12 and 13.Her goals for this week: final edits on 14 and 15 and synopsis—and at least one chapter done on her next book.

shoebrera is halfway to her goal to finish Chapter 1 in February and has about 500-1000 words to go.

whitehousemom wrote 1200 words this week.

1. These need to be in by tonight so I can get them up tomorrow morning.
2. Once the teasers are posted I won't be adding to that entry. Any late teasers will be saved for the following week.
3. Up to 300 words, give or take.
4. Please remember to include a title.

I keep forgetting to send you this stuff. ;( I'll send a teaser now so I don't forget. (Now as long as no one wants something between now and the time I go to hunt for a teaser, you should get it within five minutes.

Everyone is doing SO WELL!! :)

*lowers voice* I have to confess to finding another scene that needed work. Bad Kaz! So I've been tinkering with that. And then I *ahem* added a WHOLE NEW chapter. *sigh*

Anyway, I should be emailing it off tomorrow, so I guess I wasn't telling tooo much of a lie when I said I was done. O.o

Not bad at all! At least you found it now--not when the book's on the shelf, lol.
