Suckage

Scrambled egg whites suck--even with a real egg thrown in to add color so it doesn't look like you're frying up a blob of mucus.

Fake/low fat/low cholesterol "butter" sucks. Seriously, butter--any butter--should not stick to roof of your mouth. And it really should melt over heat.

Wheat-bread-that-looks-just-like-white-bread sucks. It's like those fake chocolate bars that look so delish till you cram one in your mouth and go chchchcuhhchcucuchchchaaaahch!

Also, I stood on the scale with my glasses off, squinting hard to make out which little line the needle was on: One-blatty-zero. Not as bad as I thought, and I should have left well enough alone--but I tried it again WITH my glasses on. All of a sudden I'm...one-blotty-four?

Damn those four-pound glasses of mine!

I've lost 16 lbs since February. Now, I wish I'd lose more, but, um, yeah, I'll take the 16 lbs! :)

I don't mind egg whites that much. I usually just fry them with some Mrs. Dash put in. I've gotten used to wheat bread too. But I don't either as much as I should.

I love eggs. I'd eat them twice a day if I could. I'm trying to find a way around all the cholesterol. I imagine if I threw some mushrooms and cheese in it... :)

I eat whole eggs and still lose weight. I just eat two eggs instead of three and I don't use butter, I use Pam spray (no calories). I've limited myself to 1200/calories a day and for the most part it works (plus I work out at gym too). I find I don't have to give up my favorite foods, just portion control.

buy a pedometer and see how many steps you take, then calculate that into calories lost!

They gave us a pedometer for nurses weeks but I stepped on it. :)

Just sayin'...

Oh, and for the longest time, I only would eat egg whites and not the yolk. I had to have my mother in law's scrambled eggs at the age of 25 to start liking the whole egg. Weird how that works.
