Welcome New Grapenuts!

feonua plans to reach 60k or complete her WIP, whichever comes first, which breaks down to about 26k words for the month.

kaz_mahoney will finish major revisions of TIW and send to editor (week 1); finish short story for anthology - about 8K to go (week 2); and do minor revisions of BG and send to agent (weeks 3 - 4)

Dee Shoe's personal writing goal is to get Chapter 1 as close to perfection as possible.

NOTE: if anyone who is not on LJ has any questions, please email me directly at sassenach43 (at) aol (dot) com. I never know if anonymous posters get my responses. Thanks!

(Awesome) Quote of the Day from Barbara Kingsolver:

"Close the door. Write with no one looking over your shoulder. Don't try to figure out what other people want to hear from you; figure out what you have to say. It's the one and only thing you have to offer."

Great quote! It's so easy to get obsessed with what others want to read that you completely forget what you actually want to write...
